Tokyo Tower is an iconic landmark in the city of Tokyo. Located at 333 meters, it was once one of Japan’s tallest buildings and still offers a stunning view over the capital city. At its top is an observation deck that has been attracting tourists since 1958.

The tower was built to commemorate Japanese sovereignty after World War II and stands as a symbol of pride for all Japanese citizens today. From the observatory you can get panoramic views that stretch from Tokyo Bay up to Mount Fuji on clear days – there are even telescopes available so visitors can zoom in closer on certain points!

The two main floors offer different experiences: Main Deck (150m) provides more general sights while Special Observatory (250m) gives exclusive access into some restricted areas only accessible through this level.

There are plenty of shops located inside selling souvenirs along with restaurants where you can have dinner whilst admiring breathtaking views right outside your window!

It’s also possible to purchase tickets online before heading there so that entry queues don’t waste any of your precious time that could be spent enjoying the views.

You can see the Rinkai subcenter to the east, Roppongi Hills to the west, Tokyo Bay and Tokyo International Airport to the south, and Tokyo Sky Tree to the north.

While there are many newer and higher observation decks in Tokyo, there is something nostalgic about visiting the Original Tokyo Tower.
