The Christmas illumination at Omotesando Hills in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo is an illumination held as an event celebrating the 110th anniversary of Walt Disney’s birth, mainly on the grand stairwell of Omotesando Hills.

The event is co-hosted with Omotesando Hills and Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, also located in Omotesando Harajuku.

The tree is decorated with approximately 25,000 Swarovski elements, and the music and lighting create a magical atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have entered a different world.

The “Princess Tree” is lit from 11:00 to 23:00 every day, with a 3-minute performance every 00, 15, 30, and 45 minutes.

The biggest and best production that will be held at the “Princess Tree” is the special “Dream Christmas Illumination” that will be held from Saturday, December 22 to Monday, December 24. Only on the three consecutive Christmas nights (two times from 18:00 and 21:00), a special 10-minute long version of a medley of Disney songs will be performed.

Don’t miss this rare and wonderful performance, which will only be held six times over the three days.
