Matsushima Shrine is dedicated to Daikokuten, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune of Nihonbashin and is located in Nihonbashi Ningyocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, on the first floor of a building.

The deities enshrined at the shrine are Izanagi no Mikoto, Izanami no Mikoto, and Ukemochi no Mikoto. The deity’s virtues include the fulfillment of great wishes, marriage, child bearing, healing of illness, protection of traffic, and prosperity of business.

During Hatsumode (New Year’s visit), many people, including those who come on the Nihonbashi Shichifukujin pilgrimage, visit the shrine together with the nearby Suitengu Shrine.

The nearest station is Suitengumae Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line, a 2-minute walk away. From Ningyocho Subway Station, it is about a 6-minute walk.
There is no parking available, so we recommend that you use public transportation or pay parking in the area.
