Setagaya Park (Setagaya Ward, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibit at Setagaya Park in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, displays a car that was manufactured by Kawasaki rolling stock in 1939 and retired in 1972. The miniature steam locomotive “Chibikuro-go” runs in the park, and both adults and children can ride on it.

 Okura Sports Park (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibit at Okura Undo Koen in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, displays the car that was built by Kawasaki rolling stock in 1938, ran a total of 3,365,110 km in Okayama and Sendai, and retired in 1976.

 Hamura City Animal Park (Hamura City, Tokyo)

Steam locomotive C58395 manufactured in 1946 is exhibited in the picnic square of Hamura City Animal Park in Hamura City, Tokyo. It ran 1,809,517 km, which is about 45 times around the earth, until it was retired in 1975.

 Haginaka Park (Ota Ward, Tokyo)

The cars on display at Haginaka Park in Tokyo’s Ota Ward were built in 1955 and used to replace the cars in the station and at the factory.

 Higashi Chofu Park (Ota Ward, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive on display at Higashi Chofu Park in Ota Ward, Tokyo, is D51-428, which was manufactured on September 10, 1940, by Nippon Sharyo Manufacturing Co. It has traveled 2,145,187.9 km, or about 54 times around the globe.

 Shimbashi Station SL Plaza (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

The C11 class steam locomotive (C11 292) is statically preserved in Shinbashi Station SL Plaza (Shinbashi Station SL Plaza) located at the Hibiya Exit of Shinbashi Station in Minato-ku, Tokyo. C11 292 was born on February 11, 1945, and ran 1,083,975 km at Nippon Sharyo Co.

 Otsukadai Park (Toshima-ku, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibited in Otsukadai Park is C58407, which was manufactured in December 1946 at the Osaka Works of Train Manufacturing Co. It ran about 932,800km, which means it ran about 23 times around the earth. After it was scrapped in December 1973, it was exhibited and preserved in this park in May 1974.

 Johoku Kotsu Park (Itabashi Ward, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibit at Johoku Kotsu Koen (Johoku Transportation Park) in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo, displays an actual D51-513 steam locomotive and a Baby Loco made by Koppel of Germany. In addition, there is an exhibition of Metropolitan buses. In the Transportation Museum, you can see a model of a steam locomotive and a railway diorama.

 Showa Park (Akishima City, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive (D51 451) exhibited at Showa Park in Akishima City, Tokyo, was delivered from the railway company in February 1940 and retired in November 1970. It ran about 1,760,000 km or about 43.8 times around the earth in 30 years. The hours of the tour are from 8:45 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

 Ome Railway Park (Ome City, Tokyo)

Ome Railway Park was opened by the former Japan National Railways in 1962 to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the railway. In the park, steam locomotives, old trains, Shinkansen, and various other actual rolling stock are exhibited. You can also experience various railway experiences such as exhibits of railway-related materials, railway simulations, and miniature steam locomotives.

 Kamichiba Sunahara Park (Katsushika-ku, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibition car D51502 of Kamichibasunahara Park in Katsushika-ku, Tokyo was manufactured at Takatori Factory of Japan National Railways in September 1941, and operated 1,877,034.7km. The car was scrapped in January 1972 and was preserved in this park in March 1972.

 Kitashikahama traffic park (Adachi-ku, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibition car of Kitashikahama park in Adachi-ku, Tokyo is a small tender locomotive C5075 for the middle distance which was born in 1929 and retired in 1971. It has run about 2 million kilometers as a passenger and freight locomotive in 42 years.

 Fuchu City Folk Forest Park (Fuchu City, Tokyo)

The steam locomotives on display at the Fuchu City Hometown Forest Park in Fuchu City, Tokyo, include a steam locomotive (D51-296) and an electric locomotive (EB-101) built in 1939 by Kawasaki Rolling Stock Co. The steam locomotive (D51-296) and the electric locomotive (EB101) are displayed in the covered hangar in the Fuchu Municipal Transportation Amusement Park.

 Iri-niarai Nishi Park (Ota Ward, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive on display at the Niirai-Nishi Children’s Transportation Park in Ota-ku, Tokyo, is C-57-66, which was manufactured by Kawasaki Rolling Stock Corporation in 1938 and has been pulling express and local passenger trains for over 35 years. It ran 3,124,321.6km, which is about 79 times around the earth.

 Koganei Park (Koganei City, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibition carriages of Koganei Park (Koganei Koen) in Koganei City, Tokyo are standard 2nd class superheater tender locomotive C57186 and standard 2nd class slow train Suhafu 322146. They are open to the public from 10:00 to 16:00 on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and Tokyoites’ Day from March to November.

 Higashimurayama Sports Park (Higashimurayama City, Tokyo)

The steam locomotive exhibition car of Higashimurayama Sports Park in Higashimurayama-shi, Tokyo is D51684 which was manufactured by Nippon Sharyo in 1942. Now, the corroded part is beginning to stand out.
