 Sumida Aquarium (Sumida-ku, Tokyo)

Sumida Aquarium is an urban aquarium that will open in Tokyo Solamachi. It is located on the 5th to 6th floors of Tokyo Solamachi in Tokyo Skytree Town, and exhibits about 400 species and 10,000 living creatures such as scorpion fish and water jellyfish. In addition to the aquarium, there is a photo studio, an original shop, and a café in the facility.

 Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

Epson Shinagawa Aqua Stadium is an amusement park located in Taito-ku, Tokyo, about a two-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, and has an aquarium, animal petting zoo, and indoor attractions to enjoy even on rainy days. Adjacent facilities include a bowling alley and a movie theater.

 Sunshine Aquarium (Toshima-ku, Tokyo)

Located in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, the Sunshine Aquarium is a 10-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station, and features a variety of unique facilities including the indoor Sunshine Lagoon and the outdoor Sunshine Aqua Ring.

 Tokyo Tower Aquarium (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

The Tokyo Tower Aquarium, located in Minato-ku, Tokyo, opened in 1978 and exhibits 50,000 beautiful and rare fish of about 900 species from around the world. Admission is 1,000 yen for adults (high school students and older) and 500 yen for children (4 years old and younger).

 Shinagawa Aquarium (Minato-ku, Tokyo)

The Shinagawa Aquarium is a fun spot for everyone from small children to couples. The recommended spots are “The World of Jellyfish” and “Seal Pavilion”. At “The World of Jellyfish”, you can take a commemorative photo with jellyfish in the photo studio tank. In the Seal Pavilion, you can watch seals swimming around in the 11-meter-diameter circular tank and underwater hall from all 360-degree angles.

 Kasai Rinkai Aquarium (Edogawa-ku, Tokyo)

Kasai Aquarium is an aquarium with many attractions such as one of the largest penguin exhibition facilities in Japan and bluefin tuna swimming in a 2,200-ton donut-shaped tank. The aquarium has more than 600 species of marine life from around the world. There are only a few aquariums in Japan where tuna swim, so it is well worth a visit.

 Inokashira Nature Park Aquatic Life Museum (Mitaka City, Tokyo)

The Aquatic Life Museum of Inokashira Nature Park in Mitaka City, Tokyo, is a facility where Japanese freshwater fish and amphibians are bred, exhibited, and protected. Why don’t you enjoy it with the zoo?
